Cavoil -- the oil emulsion cavity embalming fluid
Cavoil is a medium formaldehyde content cavity fluid (Index 20) that is factory formulated using the same highly effective oil emulsion as the Hizoil arterial fluids.
This oil emulsion fluid provides excellent penetration and absorption into muscle, skin, and the fatty tissues.
A powerful germicide and other penetration and coupling chemicals act in synergy with the formaldehyde to further increase preservation and anti-bacterial effects.
The preservation results using Cavoil can be favorably compared to higher indexed fluids yet the tissues remain more flexible and pliable.
Application Suggestions:
Cavoil Cavity fluid should be used undiluted full strength; 1 pint in the thoracic cavity, and 1 pint more in the abdominal cavity.
The cleaned viscera should placed in a stainless steel or glass container or viscera bag to be treated and preserved using 1 pint of this cavity fluid.
Cavoil Cavity fluid not absorbed by the viscera can be utilized by pouring into one of the body cavities above.
