Hizone Hardening Compound is a versatile quick-setting hardening and embalming compound. It absorbs moisture and preserves tissue through crystallization while hardening into a self-setting filler. Hizone Hardening Compound has less paraformaldehyde odor and sets faster than our Kalock. Hizone Hardening Compound can be used to fill body cavities. It can also be applied directly on hidden areas which are cancerous tissues, bed sores, gangrene areas, or for similar uses. This compound can be used to make rigid packs to seal and embalm body sections or mangled pieces. All ingredients within Hizone Hardening Compound are for moisture absorption, tissue preservation, or hardening acceleration. This compound does not contain inert bulk fillers. If there is some reason that you would wish to add a bulking filler, we suggest using Hizone Hi-Dri.
