Hizone Cavity is a medium formaldehyde content (Index 17) cavity embalming fluid concentrate. This fluid is factory formulated with a high concentration of a very active germicide which reinforce the formaldehyde's preserving effect. Hizone Cavity has deep tissue penetration with normal tissue setup, which is useful for localized injection. Hizone Cavity's mild odor makes this fluid also very suitable for pack work.

Hizone Cavity fluid should be used full strength undiluted; 1 pint in the thoracic cavity, and 1 pint more in the abdominal cavity. The cleaned viscera can be treated and preserved using 1 pint of this cavity fluid. Cavity fluid not absorbed by the viscera can be utilized by pouring into one of the body cavities above. Hizone Cavity may also be used in making packs, though the Hizone Formalin Cream is a more convenient replacement for packs.
