Kalock Hardening Compound is a versatile quick-setting hardening and embalming compound. Kalock absorbs moisture and preserves tissue through crystallation while hardening into a firm selfsetting filler. Kalock contains a significantly higher paraformaldehyde content than our Hizone Hardening Compound. Kalock can be used to fill body cavities. It can also be applied directly on hidden areas which are cancerous tissues, bed sores, gangrene areas, or for similar uses. This compound can be used to make rigid packs to seal and embalm body sections or mangled pieces. All ingredients within Kalock Hardening Compound are active for either moisture absorption or tissue preservation. Kalock does not contain inert bulk fillers. If there is some reason that you would wish to add a bulking filler, we suggest using Hizone Hi-Dri.
