Leak-Knot Incision Sealant Powder is a super absorbent powder mixture which reacts in seconds by absorbing liquids to eliminate leakage hazards in embalming. Use within cavities, cranial postmortems, complete postmortem cases, beneath suture seams, within the body orifices, inside plastic undergarments, and other situations wherever moisture is expected to be a problem. This powder mixture will expand in volume while absorbing the liquid (such as water, embalming fluids, or body liquids). The absorbed liquid is trapped within the Leak-Knot and can not be squeezed out. Our product does not contain any adhesives and will not stick to preparation tables or body tissues.

When there are extensive incisions caused by accidents, autopsies, surgery, or bone harvesting, embalm and preserve the tissues before filling these empty voids with Leak-Knot to absorb any liquid seepage. Close these openings by suturing, wrapping, or sealing with Hizone's Seal-O-Tite Liquid Incision Sealer as an adhesive over-coating.
