Dye Solutions, Concentrated
Hizone Brands Limited manufactures several highly concentrated dye solutions that are added to the injection fluid during the embalming procedure. Some embalmers utilize these dyes as tracing dyes to confirm expected circulation and distribution of the embalming fluid.
Other embalmers use these dye solutions solely for internal tissue coloration to minimize external cosmetics required for the viewing presentation. The dye solutions available include:
Brilliant Scarlet (a watermelon shade when very dilute), Blush Blend (a deep salmon shade when very dilute), Eosin (an orange / peach shade when very dilute),
Hizoil Color (this is the specific dye blend used in the Hizoil arterial fluids; resembles the shade of fresh blood when diluted), and Sun Tan (a medium carmel shade when diluted).
Application Suggestions:
Hizone dyes are very concentrated. You would typically use only 4 to 8 ounces for each procedure. Actual usage levels are dependant upon both the amount of color required by that cadaver and also the embalmer's preference.
Note: The Blush Blend is formulated less intense than the other colors. You must use proprtionately more dye solution to achieve highly colored results.
